PROJECT OVER VIEW: With several challenges this contemporary development consists of mid-rise residential development with 2 towers.  Ranging underground parking from 1 to 2 levels creats diversion in the shoring systems from full depths to perched system supported with tiebacks and pins.  Due to Mississauga being part of the Peel Region, the use of Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) was the only substitute was steel tendons.  This created challenges on site due to low Elasticity Modulus of this particular material and movement criteria for the shoring wall had to be adjusted.
